My Take on the Movie
My eldest daughter has always loved Maleficent, ever since she was very young. While most girls would be drawn to the princesses, she was drawn to the villains. While this scared us a bit, we knew that it was just her being her. So you can bet that she was very excited to see this movie. The people at Disney hit a home run in this movie in my opinion. Stunning graphic effects combine to provide the viewer  glimpse into a world different that you would have expected. The movie is beautiful and the story contrasts so much from the original cartoon and what you knew of Maleficent. My daughter loved seeing Maleficent in a new way and again in my opinion Angelina Jolie was perfect for this role and captured both villain and hero as she portrayed the iconic character. If you have not seen this you must. It is a wonderfully done movie and one that will stand the test of time!
