About the Book
Witty, compelling, and shrewd, Mansfield’s Book of Manly Men is about resurrecting your inborn, timeless, essential, masculine self.

The Western world is in a crisis of discarded honor, dubious integrity, and faux manliness. It is time to recover what we have lost.

Stephen Mansfield shows us the way. Working with timeless maxims and stirring examples of manhood from ages past, Mansfield issues a trumpet call of manliness fit for our times.

My Take on the Book
As a man in society today there are so many responsibilities that we are all faced with and many of us do this very well, and others need some additional assistance along the way. This book provides some great examples of positive male role models that any man can learn from. The author presents some amazing traits that he espouses that all men should strive to embody. The author does a good job at weaving in great examples to prove his point as well as help his readers at overcoming some of the challenges that being a man today present. For those men that grew up without a good male role model, this book provides great examples from numerous periods in history of men that any of us would be proud to follow.

I thought this book would probably be pretty good for teens, though I'm not sure how much information it holds for older guys.
