About the Book
The Marvel titles in Disney's World of Reading line are designed to offer reluctant readers, specifically boys, books that they will want to read by featuring characters they love. The series is broken into three levels that invoke the rigorous training courses that their favorite Marvel heroes must engage in to perfect their super powers. With this series, boys will perfect their own power to read.
This Level 1 Reader introduces readers ages 4-6 to the misfit team of Super Heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy.
My Take on the Book
A level 1 reader is meant for a child in pre K to kindergarten. The text is large with simple sentences. The illustrations are colorful and full of action.
In this book your child will be introduced to the galaxy guardians. They are all superheroes. Each superhero has pages about their powers and who they are. The illustrations are full page with lots of details. The story shows how the guardians keep the stars and world safe from aliens who want to destroy it.
If your child is interested in reading about the super heroes, I believe he/she will want to learn to read this book with adult supervision.
