Book Review - Money Doesn't Grow On Trees
About the Book
Barron's brand new Life Lessons series uses cheerful illustrations and down-to-earth language to tackle some of life's more challenging issues from a kid's perspective. Whether it's learning the value of hard work, acknowledging that effort impacts educational success, or overcoming adversity, this series encourages and promotes a sense of individual responsibility, while inspiring hope in kids. Money Doesn't Grow on Trees teaches a timeless lesson on the value of money and hard work.
My Take on the Book
This was a great book that makes you and your child think about where money comes from and the value of the money that they have. This is SO important as I continue to see more and more kids today with a feeling of entitlement (even in my own kids) and I try to instill in them on a daily basis the value of working for things instead of just being handed them. This book reinforces this and helps to teach (in a fun way) what kids need to do to earn what they must to truly appreciate what they get in life. A valuable book to share with all children!
