The Anybook Reader Brings Families Closer

As families grow apart and move away from each other it is important to be able to do things to keep them near in mind, body and spirit. Sometimes this is not an easy thing to do, as distance can definitely make things harder especially for young children. The AnyBook Reader is a product that I had never heard of before, but it is an interesting concept as it allows you to record your voice and embed it onto stickers that can be placed on the pages of any book you already have at home. You just activate the recording mode by tapping the tip of the pen to one of the stickers and record your voice reading out the words to your child’s favorite book. The stickers are removable and re-recordable and the box also comes with fun pre-recorded stickers that sound out animal sounds and other cool noises like clapping hands and fire truck sirens. It’s a really versatile gadget that parents and kids can enjoy together, or when they’re apart.

the nice thing about this product is the fact that a grand parent could buy it for themselves and read some of their grandchildren's favorite stories and then provide them with the AnyBook Reader so that they can be closer to their grand parents even when they are far away. This also works well for parents who have to travel a lot, or even parents that are in the military and are stationed overseas.

The devices easy-to-use and in trying it myself I came to find that the recording process is very simple and the device itself was easy enough to use that my five-year-old could handle it. The device then I tried was a 15 hour device so you have quite a bit of memory to be able to utilize with the stickers that you have. There is a 60 hour version of the device that offers even more, if you feel that you need this.

This is definitely a device that I would highly recommend as a gift for a child, as it is a gift that keeps on giving, as it promotes literacy as well as familial connections.
