My Take on the Book
Tortillas are flatbreads that are amazingly versatile. I had no idea there were so many ways you can use tortillas.

After reading Jessica's book , it is easy to see how you can replace your loaf of bread with tortillas. She explains how to store them and the different types of tortillas you can purchase.

Let me give you a few examples from her book:

FOR BREAKFAST: egg and sausage roll- up, avocado and leek omelet wrap, and tortilla crusted French toast.

FOR SNACK OR APPETIZER: spinach and cheese empanadas, baked wontons with sweet and sour dipping sauce, and spiked gazpacho dip with seasoned tortillas.

FOR A LUNCH: grilled stacker (like a panini), chili dog wraps, and shrimp po' boy wraps

FOR MAIN COURSE: chicken and bell pepper fajitas, grilled fish tacos, and grilled salmon tostados with avocado sauce.

She also had meatless entrees.

FOR DESSERT: Nutella quesadillas, apple cinnamon tortilla pockets, and Mexican cannoli

So many choices and they all sounded delicious. I am sure your family will enjoy choosing and making recipes from Jessica's book. Maybe you will create your own recipes too.

Bon Appetito!
