About the Book
With a warm smile and magic wand at the ready, the mother in this book is masterfully weaving tales that come to life, making the pain of cuts and bruises disappear, cooking meals that "do magic" in one's tummy, and making absolutely everything--even bathtime!--fun. Clever rhyming text and adorably detailed illustrations make My Mommy is Magic a true celebration of Mommies and the magic that they do every day. (Ages 2-5)

My Take on the Book
Parents who have very young children will enjoy reading this story. The story is sweet and gentle with beautiful illustrations.

Most young children view their mothers as very special people. They may even see their mothers as magical like this child did. When you think about how a mother can make their child laugh, help them to learn to pretend, cook their favorite meals, make bedtime fun, and give special hugs, mothers have a special place in their everyday world.

After reading the story, you may want to ask your little one in what ways are you magical.
