Freshpet introduces the FreshDance Challenge, Starting Today! #FreshDance #dadchat

Freshpet, the only company making fresh, refrigerated dog and cat food nationwide, is excited to announce the #FreshDance Challenge. Freshpet knows our pets dance to celebrate fresh food. Let’s follow their lead for wellness, and get dancing.

Taking time out of the day to get moving is beneficial for both our minds and bodies, and doing this with our pets is a great way to get healthy together. So, Freshpet is asking you to do a little experiment with us, and show us you and your pets’ dance moves before, during, or after any meal. Then, share a photo, video, or text of your #FreshDance experience- the point is to get active and feeling good.

Pet parents are invited to enter the #FreshDance Challenge by simply visiting Freshpet.com/Dance or Facebook.com/Freshpet. You can also submit on Twitter, Instagram, or Vine using the hashtag #FreshDance. The contest begins November 3rd and ends on November 21st.

Winners will be chosen by the team at Freshpet to receive the following prizes:

  • 1 Grand Prize winner will receive $500, a custom Freshpet refrigerator, and Freshpet food and treats
  • 5 Runner-up Prizes will receive a FreshDance gift pack filled with Freshpet goodies and a Whistle Activity Monitor
  • First 100 entries will receive a $2.00 off coupon

Along with each entry, Freshpet will make a donation to Vanderbilt University’s Pet Therapy Research Program. This program is specialized for children undergoing cancer treatment, and funds ongoing visits with therapy dogs. Their goal is to prove the positive effect therapy pets can have on wellness, especially during treatments.

"We know that fresh food isn’t only healthier for our families, it tastes better too. The Fresh Dance Challenge highlights how pets naturally celebrate fresh meals." says Scott Morris, Co-Founder and President of Freshpet. “We are excited to contribute to the Pet Therapy Research at Vanderbilt University, because we know first-hand the wellness benefits pets give us each day.”
