About the Book
TIME for Kids The BIG Book of Why: Awesome Animal Kingdom answers the why, what, when, where, who and how questions about humans and animals that kids commonly ask, but adults can rarely answer. Why do we have eyebrows? What's the difference between a crocodile and an alligator? How does aspirin know where to go in the body to take care of pain? What's the fastest a human is capable of running? Why do animals' eyes glow in the dark?

Written in an upbeat manner, each answer is accompanied by either a photo or an illustration to show the reasons why. Of course, TIME For Kids goes beyond answering the question, and dips into the science or history to further explain the answer in an easy-to-follow, straightforward manner.

TIME for Kids The BIG Book of Why: Awesome Animal Kingdom is a must-have book to satisfy the most curious of kids.

My Take on the Book
Most children and adults enjoy learning about animals. This is certainly a book full of interesting and most likely little known facts about different animals and humans.

So what causes someone to become bald? Baldness is caused by a person's genes and hormones, just like your eye color and hair color is a result of your family genes.

Speaking of color we all may ask why someone's hair eventually turns gray.It is due to the melanin which gives the hair color. The melanin cells die off. This is a natural process and thus your hair loses its color.

One last fact: a person can't get a wart from touching a frog, but you can get one from becoming infected with a virus that causes warts.

So much fun learning is included in this book Enjoy it with your child today.
