My Take on the Book
There is something strange going on in Eerie Elementary School. a real crisis occurs hen Lucy is eaten by the school. Antonio and Sam, her friends, must locate her before it is too late.As Antonio and Sam venture into the school's basement, they must be not only brave but resourceful.
Jack Chabert has written a mystery that would appeal to first through third graders. It is a chapter book written on a second grade reading level.
Your early elementary child will enjoy this story. It is action packed, with lots of dialogue between the characters, and Sam Ricks' illustrations bring the action in the story to life.
