Book Review - The Happy Hour Effect

About the Book
The Happy Hour Effect, on sale November 12th, provides readers with easy, fun and powerful solutions to minimize stress and maximize life. This book can be read and utilized by men and women, wealthy and low-income, single and married, and old & young people alike; Kristen's messages transcend any specific genre clichés and provide overarching, tangible advice that will be welcomed and used for generations to come.

As a certified holistic health counselor, widow mom, and 20-year corporate America veteran, Kristen has experienced personal and professional stress firsthand. She uses this knowledge to coach others seeking elevated health and happiness in their lives. Her book is a comprehensive guide to help readers live healthier, happier and less stressed lives quickly and easily.

"At the age of 31 I suddenly lost my healthy, 30-year-old husband, Todd, to a sudden heart attack," Kristen says. "Out of the blue I found myself a widow, a single mom, and responsible for managing a household all on my own. It was overwhelming to say the least. I had to coach myself on how to manage my stress and through that suffering and pain and a lot of education has come this book and my Happy Hour Effect message. My motivation is to help others, the same way I helped myself overcome my biggest challenge in life."

From sex, to parenting, to pets, to self-pampering and much, much more, each chapter addresses a specific stress and how to overcome it. Rich with inspiring quotes, tips and secrets, effort levels, expected results, and links to supporting materials, each chapter truly comes to life for the reader.

My Take on the Book
This was a great book that was well organized that was very comprehensive in nature! I love the ideas that the author shared in this book. I have shared this book as well with a few of mu colleagues and many shared with me that they loved how open and honest the author was with the suggestions that she shared. This was such a practical book that so many of us will be able to benefit from in general! I look forward to sharing this even further in the future with other family and friends!
