Book Review - The Horse and Pony Creativity Book

About the Book
Kids learn how to draw horses, construct the pony rosettes that are given as prizes at horse shows, play a horse racing game, use stickers to create a pony camp picture, and more. This title in Barron's growing list of Creativity Books is filled with fun projects to keep kids cheerfully occupied on rainy days, on lengthy car trips, or during quiet time at home. Its features include--
  • Games, puzzles, stencils, sticker sheets, and an illustrated gatefold page for sticker decorating
  • Special pull-out art paper and art projects to complete
  • Pages for coloring
  • Fun-to-answer quizzes

Each Creativity Book has a distinctive theme to capture specific interests of boys and girls. Illustrations on virtually every page include 40 pages in color.

My Take on the Book
If there is a young child in your life who loves horses ( and may wish they had one) this book is full of activities about horses. It would be a great book for that child. It is full of stencils, stickers, stories, pictures, puzzles, and things to make. There are opportunities to draw and learn about historical horses. This book contains hours of entertainment and learning for the young horse enthusiast.
