Book Review - Goosebumps Wanted: the Haunted Mask

About the Book
Goosebumps Wanted: The Haunted Mask, two spookily linked Halloween stories- now in paperback!

From horror master R.L. Stine come two new chilling stories in one spooky standalone:

Lu-Ann Franklin usually loves Halloween. Not this year. Her best friend, Devin O'Bannon, is going away for the week. And she has to go to a boring party where nothing exciting could ever happen. But when Lu-Ann comes face-to-face with The Haunted Mask, major trouble lies ahead.

Devin O'Bannon didn't want to leave his best friend Lu-Ann Franklin behind on Halloween. He didn't ask to go on this trip. And that was before he heard the strange scratching on his windows and saw the shadows moving around in the fields. Something is out there and it doesn't seem to want Devin around!

My Take on the Book
This it is another great addition to the goosebumps line of books. My daughter's a huge fan of the series as she is always looking for books that are a bit scary, will the same time intriguing and mind stimulating. I read this book with her and I can tell you that it is well written and a bit scary as well. I will say this book is not written for very young readers, instead, it is written for, I would say, upper elementary early middle school readers. There are some situations within the book and some violence that is shared within the book that is a bit intense, and because of this you need to be wary as you are reading this with your child, or if you are letting your child simply read this by themselves. I will say though that the book is well written and for the right age group and they will truly love the book itself, and being scared by the situation surrounding the book and the characters within it.
