My Take on the DVDs
My oldest loves this series! even though she didn't wash it when it first came out she's been very excited about the releases of these and has watched both volumes 1 and 2, and was eagerly anticipating the release of these two as well. Both of these DVDs are filled with great episodes (10 in all) as well as some other fun bonus features that you don't get to see when you're watching just on television. One of the things that my eldest really likes about this is that she gets to see some young actors that she has been able to see in other places (whether in movies or television), in a disabled time she gets to be frightened, at least somewhat, by the series itself. As someone who really enjoys scary stories my daughter really gets into the series and enjoys it. In watching them with her I can say that most are not very scary from an adult's perspective, however, young children may get somewhat frightened by some of the content. The DVDs were well made and the acting in the series was pretty good from my perspective. My daughter loved watching them and has now shared the DVDs with a friend of hers who she introduced to the series during a sleepover ( and is now a fan also). If you and your kids like a show that is relatively scary ( but not over the top), this is a great series for you and your family to share together.
