CD Review - Rockabye Baby!: Lullaby Renditions of Pearl Jam

About the CDRockabye Baby! transforms timeless rock songs into beautiful instrumental lullabies. Guitars and drums are traded for soothing mellotrons, vibraphones and bells, and the volume is turned down from an eleven to a two. Rockabye Baby! is the perfect way to share the music you love with the littlest rocker in your life.

Are new baby’s cries turned up to ten? Need an alternative to the nightly riot act? When it’s you vs. them, these sweet lullaby renditions of Pearl Jam’s rock anthems are as comforting as a warm flannel blanket. Just breathe, Mom and Dad--it’s sleeptime in Seattle.

My Take on the CDFilled with the alluring sounds of what sound like marimba, the eerie sounds of Pearl Jam come forth as wonderful lullaby music for the aspiring alternative rock fan. As a person who has listened to many
childrens' music albums, this one was unique in that it provided me the opportunity to here some great music from Peal Jam in a very unique way.

I was a definite fan of Pearl Jam growing up and this is a great way to have your young kids start a love for their music as well. I have heard some other albums that have tried to do something similar with music from the Beatles and Black Sabbath, but this album truly did a great job at encapsulating the aura of the music of Seattle and the alternative music that was and is Pearl Jam. I think that you will also agree once you listen yourself.

If you want this album for yourself you can find it on Amazon!
