My Take on the Book
Percy The Perfectly Imperfect Chicken is a wonderful tale about the importance about being yourself and being tolerant and non-prejudiced against others. As a parent the message in this book was something that I would always hope that they would understand and emulate. One of the other amazing things was that it attacks the idea of standing up and accepting that no one is perfect no matter how hard they try. The book is beautifully illustrated and the colors within the book are so vibrant. They just jump off the page.

I read this book to my daughters and they just loved it. My eldest daughter even mentioned that her teacher had read this book to them in her Kindergarten class.

I would highly recommend this book for any parent, as the moral behind the story is one that all parents will want their kids to know!
