Color-Changing Night-Light and Play Light

Children will be comforted by the sight of Mobi's cheerful GloMate Plus at their sides. This playful light offers two modes of operation to keep kids soothed and entertained. In Constant Mode, GloMate Plus glows steadily in blue, green, or red. In Rainbow Mode, GloMate automatically cycles through all three colors.
GloMate Plus is not only a funky lamp that's fun to watch, but it's also a cuddly playmate with a silky feel that's ideal for snuggling. Illuminated by energy-efficient LEDs, GloMate Plus is completely heat-free, so it's safe for little hands.

Kid-Friendly Grab-and-Go Charging

The GloMate Plus has a built-in long-lasting rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation. Once the lamp is fully charged, a ring on the lighted low-voltage base changes color to indicate GloMate is ready to go. When removed from the charging base--or in the event of a power outage--GloMate Plus turns on automatically and emits a continuous glow.

Friendly Glow, on the Go

Because it's rechargeable and portable, the GloMate Plus is ideal for travel. Kids will love having GloMate Plus as an entertaining playmate during the journey, and parents will love having GloMate as a soothing night-light that helps reassure children in unfamiliar surroundings.

Timer Promotes Gentle Transition to Sleep

GloMate Plus's built-in timer slowly decreases light over a 15-minute period, promoting a comfortable and gradual transition to sleep. The timer works in either Constant Mode or Multi Mode, starting the light at full brightness and ultimately transitioning to off.

Safe, Durable, and Easy to Maintain

Designed with both parents and kids in mind, GloMate Plus features a soft-touch plastic surface that's impact resistant and easy to clean. For further convenience, the built-in lithium-ion battery means you'll never have to worry about making replacements, and the long-lasting LEDs mean you'll never have to worry about changing bulbs.
The Mobi GloMate Plus is compliant with CPSIA toy safety standards for lead and phthalates. It is backed by a 90-day limited warranty.

From the Manufacturer

The TykeLight GloMate features a new, easy to clean surface that is soft to the touch, durable and impact resistant. The all white BPA and lead free GloMate, once illuminated, can turn a constant blue, green or pink; or rainbow mode which will cycle between all colors. The built in NiMH rechargeable batteries and low-voltage charging base helps the GloMate provide up to 10 hours of constant light when fully charged. The hassle free GloMate turns on automatically when removed from the base, and the LED lights do not give off heat, so it's cool to the touch." The "Gentle Sleep" mode when activated automatically dims and shuts off the light after 15 minutes.

My Take on the ProductWhat is nice about the Mobi GloMate is that it emits a bright glow in a choice of colors. This light is something that any child will like as they go to sleep at night. It is in a shape that is comfortable to hold and but not comfortable enough to take to bed with a child. It is rechargeable  His surface is hard, but all smooth curves -- which feel good in the hand, but perhaps not so comfortable to which is always something that I appreciate, especially when I have spent so much in the past on batteries!

The product gently lights the room of my daughter. I enjoyed that there was a button that set a timer that slowly dims and turns it off in 15 minutes. If you don't want the timer to work it will shine for 8+ hours off its base. It then will take at least 4 hours to recharge. The base plugs into an outlet via a cord similar to a cellular phone charger.

My girls both enjoyed this product and the only downfall was that we only had one so only one daughter could have it in her room!

Anyway, I would highly recommend this product, especially if you are looking for a great nightlight for your child.
