About the Game
50 of the most addicting games from Atari’s legendary vault are now available on the must-have Nintendo DS title of the holiday season.  Atari, one of the world’s most recognized publishers and producers of interactive entertainment, has just launched Atari’s Greatest Hits: Volume 1 - the ultimate Nintendo DS title for casual gamers.  Atari’s Greatest Hits: Volume 1 brings together dozens of the most popular Atari arcade and Atari 2600 titles of all-time, including such blockbusters as Asteroids®, Pong®, Centipede®, Missile Command® and Tempest®

My Take on the Game

The Atari 2600 was one of the first game systems that I ever had when I was a kid and I lived and breathed the games that were available on it. Were the graphics good compared to today's graphics, not even close, but there was something to the games that drew me in. Thus, when I saw this game I wanted to try it and see if it lived up to the games of my youth.

In trying out the game itself, I was impressed by the array of games that were available and how they captured the original graphics on a smaller scale for the Nintendo DS.

I had an awesome time having fun with all of the games on this and I even shared it back with Diva-J who had some fun as well and really ended up liking checkers, asteroids and pong. This game was a great one and one that I will definitely be playing for a while. I just have to remember to share the play time with my eldest daughter every now and again.

If you want this game for yourself you can find it on Amazon!
