About the Book
Pete and Gabby are bored so they go in search of something to do. When they come across a school, they know it must be fun! The two bear cubs prowl through the school and wreak havoc in the music room, art room, gymnasium, and the cafeteria before having to be escorted back to the campground by the ranger. It turns out that school is a very fun place!
My Take on the Book
You will thoroughly enjoy this humorous story and your children will especially love it. Pete and Gabby are two bear cubs who are extremely curious. Their curiosity leads them into trouble once they decide to visit the local elementary school. You can imagine the trouble they could get into with the art materials, the music instruments, and the gym equipment.
The bears innocent fun loving antics will definitely bring laughter to your children. Maybe you and your child could think of other areas of the school the bears could have an adventure before getting caught and sent back to their home in the woods.
Katherine Kirkland's illustrations are perfect for the text of the story.
