My Take on the Miniseries
This was an amazing miniseries that I watched originally on television and made the Bible come alive for my family and I. I have to say that if you missed on television and you are interested in seeing the Bible in living color, this series brings together all of the stories that you know from the Bible in one place. I have to commend Mark Burnett and Roma Downey for bringing together a great cast and pushing the gauntlet to develop a series that was truly memorable. The series could have ben much more than 10 hours, but they cover so much in the 10 hours that they have in the series. From beginning at the story of Noah to the story and life of Jesus, you get a well documented view of the Holy Bible. If you are a person who studies the Bible, you will find some omissions and inaccuracies, but all-in-all this series did a great job (in my opinion) at bringing forth the Bible in a new way that all can understand and enjoy!
