About the Book
THE WORLDWIDE ADVENTURES OF ROHINI MOLINI: A Short Trip to Australia A story by Lea and Tim Original drawings by Nicola Ibbotson- Gue. Additional drawings by Helen Lang Rohini and her pals are inspired to magically travel to Australia after Rohini's dog Bugle finds a strange stick in the park. On their travels they meet up with their friend Lachlan and learn all about Nippers, boomerangs, and what Australians call a sausage!

About the Authors
Lea and Tim have both enjoyed successful careers in the advertising and marketing sector and became friends after working together on a number of projects. Their desire to continue this partnership led them to collaborate on the development of the Rohini Molini character and stories.

Their motivation stems from a desire to encourage young children to become more aware of the world we live in and to give something back to those children who are less fortunate; for every book sold, Lea & Tim will contribute a percentage of their income to the Rohini Molini Charitable Fund, which in turn will make donations to reputable children’s’ charities around the world.

My Take on the Book
Rohini Molini travels to Australia because she found a boomerang. The authors do a nice job explaining how it is different from a regular stick.

As you read the story to your child, you will also be introduced to kangaroos, marsupials, nippers, and snags. Once again there is a pictorial glossary at the end of the book. This is another educational story by Lea and Tim.
