About the Book
Follow this little ninja as he sneaks up on the family dog, swipes a cookie from his brother, and escapes from Granny’s kiss...only to be out-ninja’d by his younger brother’s sneak attack! Young readers will be drawn in by the fast-paced rhymes that parallel the little ninja’s quick moves, and will chant the refrain with glee! This humorous ode to stalking, sneaking, spying, and scheming is sure to be read over and over again, inspiring imaginary play for a new generation of ninjas.

My Take on the Book
This book tells the story of two siblings. One is older than the other one. One is active in jumping, creeping, and sneaking. The older one seems to scare the younger one in the story.

Grandmother tries to diffuse the older child's antics. Finally as the day progresses and night arrives, the two siblings come together and join together to resolve their differences for that day.

To me this story is the typical story about the challenges a parent or adult has when an older and younger sibling have their differences and may not get along well. The story is done in a humorous way.

The story could lend itself to a discussion with your children about their differences and ways to resolve conflicts.
