Book Review - Second Strike

About the Book
Author Ron P. Whittington’s first novel Second Strike, a fictional account of a terrorist attack planned in the U.S. just after 9/11, has been re-released in a soft-back, media market version.

In Second Strike, the life of New York businessman Parker Glynn is dramatically affected by the attack on the Twin Towers when he loses his wife and child and discovers he may have been an unknowingly ally to Al-Queda.  Glynn’s flight from his past takes him to northeast Florida, where he accidentally uncovers another terror strike is under way in the wake of 9/11.

“The 9/11 tragedy affected the lives of many of us, yet there was little most of us could personally do to fight back at the time,” Whittington said. “The story line, that a man directly impacted by the attack has the opportunity to get revenge for the horror inflicted on him, is finding a receptive audience.  It’s a classic tale of revenge and redemption.”

Second Strike was independently printed by Bookmasters, Inc. of Ashland, Ohio and is for sale at www.secondstrikethenovel.com and www.amazon.com – along with independent book stores in Florida including:

My Take on the Book
I truly enjoyed this page turner of a book. I have read many suspense novels in the pas, from James Patterson to Robert Patterson and more, and this book follows suit and the author has done an amazing job at capturing the interest and attention of the reader with a fast pace, engaging and entertaining read!

This book is one that will truly make you think about what could happen if terrorists get their way. The book also has great characters and a plot that will keep you engaged and asking for more from the beginning to the end of the book!
