Book Review - On My Way to Bed
About the Book
Kids everywhere dread the nightly call to go to bed. But not Livi! Her imagination takes her on a journey full of daring obstacles and exciting adventures on her way to bed. She pilots a spaceship, walks a tightrope, and climbs a mountain, all while her Mom waits with her covers turned down and bed ready. With stalling techniques as creative as this, it's a wonder she ever makes it to bed! In On My Way to Bed author Sarah Maizes and illustrative veteran, Michael Paraskevas, once again create a funny, fresh book that will be a must for every parent who wants to foster creativity while fulfilling the every day necessities.

My Take on the Book
This is a delightful story that put a smile on my face, as it brought back so many great memories of trying to get my own kids to bed on a schedule (not an easy feat at times). The illustrations made the book come alive and meshed completely well with the story itself. There is so much to see in the illustrations, you have to watch for small details that are shared. All-in-all any parent or grandparent will love this book and so will your kids! Definitely a story to read and to share with others!
