Book Review - God, I need to Talk to You About...

About the Books
Child-friendly text and entertaining illustrations help children think about a behavior they encounter in daily life and pray about it. The book expresses that all sinful behaviors are forgiven through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and encourages children to go to God in prayer any time they feel tempted or troubled. Scripture examples help children apply it to their lives...

My Take on the Books
These little books show in an honest way the feelings of a child in each of the topics of each book. There is interaction with the parents and the child coming to a conclusion at the end of the book. Each book has some supportive scripture. The books are short and the illustrations are delightful with emotions on the children's faces which are real and precious.

MY BAD TEMPER is the book I will review here. The child feels he has had a terrible day and he voices his anger and disappointment. He is embarrassed too.In the end he decides it really is important to know the real reasons you are angry and to make sure you have not done something to add to your own anger and disappointment. There is a lesson for not only the child but for the adult that reads the book.

I feel these books are appropriate for school age children. They are books which will assist the reader/parent with hopefully a discussion with the child on the book's topic. The issues are normal issues in everyday life.

Thank you for taking the time to review our "God I Need to Talk to You" books. We have, to date, sold over a million copies of these little books and they seem to have struck a chord with parents.

God bless.
