My Take on the Book
This was a great addition to the Cooper and Me series that will open any family to having meaningful discussions about either a parent or someone that a child knows who is in the military. The book does a good job at expressing and explaining some of the important things that children need to understand regarding this type of deployment and the feelings and emotions that surround this. Seeing that our kids have a close family friend who is currently overseas, this was a great addition to our library and it provided us with some great conversation starters as well! This is a must have book for any family!
