Book Review - Chuggington: Lights, Camera, Action Chugger!

About the Book
Have no fear, Action Chugger is here!

On his way to the set of his newest movie, Action Chugger crash lands, right in front of Brewster! Can Brewster save his hero?

My Take on the Book
Chugger is a jet and he is making a movie. Brewster is an train engine and friend of Chugger's but he thinks his life is not as exciting as Chugger's. Chugger falls from the sky when his jet malfunctions and Brewster becomes his hero as he is able to help Chugger return to flying.

This is a Scholastic reader, level 1 story. It is perfect for preschool through first grade. The illustrations are bright and colorful and there are only 1-3 short sentences on each page. There is action and lots of expressive language as the vehicles talk to each other. The story illustrates how everyone is important. No matter what kind of job you have , you never know when your skills or talents will be needed to help a friend in need. This is a good lesson for both young and old to remember and learn.
