Go Back to School with Karoun Dairies

A new study out of Madrid, Spain shows that low-glycemic foods, and moderately high-protein intake has been shown to reduce body weight and fat mass. [1] As obesity rates rise, so do metabolic disorders such as insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes often made worse by high sugar and excessive carbohydrate intake. Put aside the sugary snacks and make back to school healthy this fall with high-protein, all natural Karoun low-fat and non-fat yogurts that makes snacking delicious and healthful.

Reduce Weight
Reducing body weight and fat mass, not only helps to avoid detrimental health risks but it also has beneficial effects by lowering cholesterol, triglyceride concentrations and post-meal glucose curve. In other words, meals that contain protein keep the body’s systems in check and helps stabilize blood sugar. Take a bold step towards healthy kids with snacks and meals that include Karoun Dairies’ low-fat and non-fat yogurt. Irresistibly creamy, all natural and purely delicious, Karoun Dairies is a healthful and beneficial choice for after school snacks and as an addition to meals.

Boost Nutrients
If weight management and lower cholesterol isn’t enough, one serving of Karoun Dairies all natural yogurt has a significant source of potassium, phosphorous, riboflavin, iodine, zinc, and vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). Yogurt also contains B12, which maintains red blood cells and helps keep the nervous system functioning properly. But perhaps the least touted benefit of yogurt is that it contains live cultures called probiotics – beneficial bacteria that lives in the digestive tract and helps build immunity by crowding out harmful microorganisms. Beneficial bacteria improve digestion thereby strengthening immunity to ward off fall colds.

Karoun Dairies adheres to centuries of yogurt making tradition, made at their state-of-the-art California facility strictly using only milk from cows that are free from growth hormones, BGH/rBST, and are Real California Milk certified. All natural ingredients and time-honored recipes make Karoun Dairies’ delicious and authentic low-fat and non-fat yogurt the perfect after-school choice for kids and families on the go.

Karoun Diaries all natural yogurt is made in the highest quality and tradition to ensure the most beneficial properties remain intact for optimal health benefits. Wow them this fall with this irresistible snack that’s packed with vitamins, antioxidants, probiotics and healthy protein.
