About the Movie
This modern retelling of William Shakespeare’s final masterpiece is an exciting, mystical and magical fantasy with Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren  (Best Actress, The Queen, 2006) leading a star-studded cast including Russell Brand (Get Him To The Greek) and Alfred Molina (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice).

My Take on the Movie
As a person who loves all things Shakespeare I was excited to see and experience this movie. The movie itself was well directed and had a number of known actors within it. I have to say that I was impressed with the storyline as well as the acting within the movie. The movie also was quite true to the overall play and although they are able to over-dramatize parts within the movie that could never happen in the play, it still works.

Helen Mirren does a remarkable job in her role within the film (as she always does), but overall, all of the actors took on the personas that they portrayed with vigor and made the play truly come alive!

This is definitely a great movie and if you love Shakespeare or if you simply love action packed movies, this movie is one to check out today!
