Book Review - Breaking the Beale Code

About the Book
In 1821, Thomas Jefferson Beale buried gold, silver and jewels in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Nearly two hundred years later the treasure is still lost. No one has been able to crack the unbreakable code to find out whether the treasure is real or an elaborate hoax. In this second edition of The Treasure Hunters Club: Breaking the Beale Code (Mountainland Publishing) by Sean McCartney, the Club embarks on their greatest adventure - determined to break the code, find the $30 million cache and save a friend from an old foe bent on revenge.

My Take on the Book
My kids love reading and my eldest loves adventure and mysteries. This book provides both. I also have to say that I loved the fact that the book ties in so many historical references. The book was an easy read and made for the younger reader. The characters and plot moves quickly and you can easily read this in one evening if you so choose. I actually sat down and read the book with my daughter and we both had a great time exploring and living the adventure that is in this book and I am sure that you and your kids will as well! A great read!

As a fan of the Author from his Washington Generals days I am glad to see the book is so well received.
