About the Book
If one believes holistically in Jesus Christ, “How do we account for the existence of sickness, disease, pain, and suffering?” This is the question that plagues and perhaps prevents most from having the utmost confidence in the power of God. Furthermore, ancient philosophies like Manicheanism proposed a similar question: from where did evil originate?
Essentially, the thesis of this belief revolved around the principle that God was not an image of perfection. Additionally, it was theorized that if everything spawned from the Creator, then he must also be the Creator of evil, resulting in a God that is a dichotomy of both good and evil.
In modern times, the ideas of Manicheanism would be considered blasphemous, mainly because theologians today present a God who did not create evil, but rather allowed it. Samuel O. Enyia in Be Healed! Challenges and Triumphs of Health and Healing thoroughly explores this issue, asserting that it is easily understood by reading Genesis 1:31: “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” Evil, and consequently, sickness, entered the world when mankind was tempted and freely allowed sin to enter. Of course, this brought about the need for healing—both spiritually and physically.
Enyia, using the biblical story of Job’s trials and tribulations, explains that it becomes apparent that “Satan has the power to afflict people [with sickness] but not the power to heal.” This is a great testament to Satan’s limited power and God’s infinite power.
Ultimately, throughout Be Healed, Samuel Enyia challenges the individual to relinquish his/her ego and accept God’s will. At the same time, Enyia explains the reason why some aren’t healed despite surrendering to Jesus Christ. He states that throughout the cycle of illness and human remedy, “God has been waiting for us all that time, then we begin to sense that we needed Jesus more than we needed healing.” The healed and unhealed must understand that “He chooses to heal; the method; answers prayer in His own way. He approves the remedies, the time, the place of healing because He is the Ultimate Healer.”
Samuel O. Enyia in Be Healed! Challenges and Triumphs of Health and Healing lays it all out in an easy-to-understand format to which the reader can easily relate. Definitely a must-read for anyone who has been confused or skeptical about divine healing in a modern world.

My Take on the Book
This book takes a non-traditional stance to how healing should work. In his eyes, healing should constitute both the use of western medicine as well as through a strong faith in God.
This book makes many biblical references and ties these references to healing and true faith. The author spends much time explaining faith and how faith and healing intertwine to ultimately aid students into the future.
You will be inspired by the author's story, as he has overcome so much adversity through the use of traditional and non-traditional approaches towards ultimate healing.
Be Healed shares some miraculous stories with his readers! You will be inspired as well as amazed by the journey that the author was on and know that if his method worked for him that it could and will make a difference in your life when you need it
