First Annual Giftee Awards

The Giftees are the brain child of Gifts.com Editor in Chief, Dana Holmes, and will honor the most sought after gift ideas in 10 categories. Think you know the Best Office Secret Santa Gift? Or, can you predict the Hottest Toy for the Holidays? Nominate the winning gift idea in any category and be entered to win a $500 holiday shopping spree!

Gifts.com’s team of “Gift Guru” editors who have over 40 years of combined experience in retail, buying, marketing, trend forecasting and blogging; along with guests from ShelterPop/DIYLife, Evite, Retail Me Not’s “The Insider”, BUYSEASONS and Party Bluprints will act as judges and determine the 10 finalists in each category for the hottest gifts of 2011; announced October 31^st. The winning gifts will be chosen by public vote, announced on November 28^th and then highlighted on Gifts.com.  Winning gift ideas will receive bragging rights as the very best in the gift giving world. Consumers with a knack for generosity can nominate their favorite gifts in 10 categories at http://www.gifts.com/giftees ultimately determining the most wanted products of the year. Consumers can also check out Giftees news updates via the Gifts.com Twitter handle @giftsdotcom, and can tweet about the awards and their favorite picks using the hashtag #giftees2011.
