In anticipation of the September 16th release of THE LION KING 3D in theaters, we invite you to Meet (or just get reacquainted with) the Characters from the film! Do you like kicking back like Timon the meerkat? Maybe you are wise and clever like Rafiki the baboon? Each character has their own friends, foes and physical characteristics!

MEET THE CHARACTERS

Simba

Hangs Out: Roaming the Pridelands with his friends

Family: His father was King Mufasa, and his mother is Sarabi

Friends: The dynamic duo of Pumbaa and Timon

Foes: His evil uncle Scar

Likes: Leading the pride, laughing with Pumba and Timon

Dislikes: Hyenas (they don't tickle his funny bone)

Fashion Statement: He sports a regal mane

Coolest Quirk: He eats bugs with Pumbaa and Timon - yummy!

Nala

Personality Traits: Brave and curious

Description: An adorable lion cub - and then a powerful lioness

Occupation: Huntress

Distinguishing Characteristics: Rafiki has the colorful face you expect from a baboon, and carries a gourd-topped walking stick

Mufasa

Breed: African lion
