Book Review - Tape It & Wear It
About the Book
We've seen it all, duct tape toys, wallets, cell phone cases, and tote bags--all amazingly creative projects that prove just how versatile this tool drawer staple can be; and it doesn't end there. Trend watchers have spotted the next stage of the duct tape revolution...and they're not just watching it, they're wearing it! Duct tape clothing has been featured on shows like Project Runway, on red carpets across the nation, and even at proms. Who better to demonstrate this technique than the duct-tape diva herself Richela Fabian Morgan! Picking up where her two previous titles, Tape It & Make It and Tape It & Make More left off, Richela puts her infinite creativity to work to show us how to make completely hip, uniquely wearable skirts, hats, vests, and more out of duct tape.
Easy-to-follow instructions, tips on tools and supplies, more than 500 full-color illustrations, and 60 amazing projects, makes Tape It & Wear It is a must-have for crafty style mavens and fearless fashionistas everywhere.
My Take on the Book
For any child that loves to make things with tape, this is a great book and one that you will want to share with them. My daughter has already started to design and make some clothes for herself. I don't know what it will look like in the end, but it is amazing watching it all come together. The book gives good instruction and is filled with great images that let you see the final product. This is a great book!
