Book Review - Man Words: Real Words for Real Men

About the Book

If you don't know what it means to make mincemeat out of a pie-eyed Joe Six-Pack, you're just not fulfilling your manly duties. But don't fret, bro (that's for sissies); ManWords: Real Words for Real Men (Adams Media, a division of F+W Media, July 2011) is here - to show you how to man up and talk the talk.

Whether you're a working stiff, a single guy tossing back shots on a Wednesday, or a married man who bravely faces the weekends with a weed whacker and a set of grilling utensils, here you'll find the words you need to keep you "high rolling", "top dog", or even a "mac daddy".

About the Author
Jeremy Greenberg is an internationally headlining stand-up comedian, author, blogger, and joke writer. He has appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Show (radio and TV), and has done five overseas tours to perform for our troops. When Jeremy is not performing or writing, he is at home in San Diego demonstrating alpha-male behavior to his two-year-old twin sons--mostly by saying "Whatever" and leaving the room every time his wife says that he incorrectly loaded the dishwasher.

My Take on the Book

This book takes a humorous look at words through the eyes of a man. It takes words and gives you the definition that as a man you would give to the book itself. The book is truly funny and had me laughing throughout the book.

Many times what was most funny were the sentences that followed the definitions (not that the definitions were not funny as they truly were).

If you are looking for some mindless fun, as well as a boatload of laughs, this book will keep you in stitches for the entire reading. I found myself going back to extra funny sections and know that you will as well!
