Book Review - Man Libs

About the Book
A real man will admit that sometimes, as a gender, they need some guidelines here and there: hence The Maxims of Manhood - the quintessential guidebook to everything about being a man - from urinal etiquette to snagging chicks.

An even manlier task? Making your own rules.

Not to be confused with Mad Libs - those lame things kids do - Maxims of Manhood Presents: ManLibs (Adams Media, a division of F+W Media, June 2011) is the hilarious party game created by guys for guys. You still fill in the blanks, but there's no need to watch your mouth; in this case, words that make your girlfriend cringe earn you extra points.

My Take on the Book

Do you remember mad libs as a kid? Well, though this is set up like mad libs, this is not your run-of-the-mill mad libs, instead this book is set up as a go to manual for any business orientated man in today. While you will not be able to completely use these in your daily life, they are a lot of fun to take your mind away form the ills of the world and for letting you have a laugh at what you can come up with.

One warning, this book will make you think and will make you dust off the grammatical knowledge that you learned so long ago (yes you will need to remember what a noun, pronoun, adjective and verb is).

So have fun and remember not to cheat and look at what you are trying to fill in before you fill it in (you will ruin the surprise)!
