My Take on the Book
Izzy wants to join the mermaids and swim to the Treasure of the Tides ceremony. Jake, Skully, and Cubby decide to go along and see which mermaid is honored at the ceremony. Unfortunately Captain Hook and Smee want to capture the treasure first and try to block the mermaids and Izzy on their swim to the ceremony.
This story has adventure, funny events, and a nice surprise for Izzy to becomes an honorary mermaid.
Your young child will enjoy the story. The illustrations are colorful and show the expressions of the characters.
