My Take on the Bag
These bags are well constructed and fit so much! I was able to review one of the bags like you see in the first picture that I placed in this post. In looking at this that you wouldn't guess the size, but it is much larger than it looks from the picture. My wife has stated that she loves the bag and its high-quality construction. She also stated that its fashionable and that she really enjoyed the colors that were available to her when selecting the bag that we were going to look at.

My Take on the DVD
Talk about an action packed thrill ride! This season was full of so many twists and turns that made me not want to stop watching until the very end of the 26 episodes. I have to say that I love the artistry in this series and the writing is also strong. If you are a fan of the Transformers series, you will not only love this series, but also this season as it adds much to the overall storyline of the Transformers itself. There were some new characters introduced this season which is always fun, and my favorite has to be Dreadwing. All-in-all this DVD was so much fun, and I highly recommend this to all once it comes out on November 20!

My Take on the Software
I just started using this, and I am definitely not an expert, but I have come to find that the software delivers exactly what it states that it will. I loved how user friendly the software was and I found that even though I am not an expert, you can use this software to make some amazing comics that you can take and share with any that will read them. I have to say that as a kid I would have loved to have had this, as I made many comics and they were always painstaking processes, starting with pencil, then to colored pencils and then to ink. This takes out a number of these steps and allows you to do all of these stages virtually which is just amazing. This is definitely the version that is made more for beginners which is where I wanted to be. At the same time, it is nice to know that with the EX version is available that has a number of greater bells and whistles that this does not have. All-in-all this was a great start to rekindling my cartooning interest.

My Take on the Book
I loved this book! As someone that drinks smoothies daily I am always looking for variety and this book delivers. I was so impressed with the layout of this book, but also the large variety of the number of  types of smoothies, from fruit to green and so much more this book has it all. This book even uses some vegetables and fruits that I have never tried before, but now after seeing them together here in this book, I am ready to make the leap. The book also has some great nutritional content and you will also learn so much as you read this, as the author brings in some very interesting facts about healthy eating, many things that I was not yet aware of. All-in-all this was a great book for anyone that either already drinks smoothies or wants to, you will not be disappointed!

Book Review - See How They Run: Campaign Dreams, Election Schemes, and the Race to the White House

About the Book

My Take on the Book
How appropriate for this book to come on the scene during the 2012 election in the United States. It is a very interesting book and not just for children. Susan E. Goodman gave facts about voting and democracy with humor and through cartoons as she also wrote important factual information. She certainly included facts I have never known about our country, the electoral college and more. I feel every adult could gain new knowledge through reading this book and of course share it with their children.

She shares how the each party acquired their symbols: donkey and elephant. Do you know who Thomas Nast was and why he was important?

If you do not purchase this book until after the election, it is still one that you need to have in my opinion. We will continue to elect presidents and other officials,and she has shared a lot of information that is important to anyone living and voting in the United States of America.

Book Review - Mercer Mayer's Little Monster Home School and Work Book

About the Book
"Home, School and Work Book" follows Little Monster as he plays and learns at home, school and work. This is the third title in Mayer's "Classic Collectibles" four-book series that features the lovable Little Monster character, whose escapades fill the world with laughter and fun, all while providing valuable lessons for young readers.

My Take on the Book

Mercer Mayer has been one of my favorite author/illustrators for many years and this book was another excellent example of why he is so loved by so many parents and educators. He has a way of taking family issues and putting them into his "monster" settings with the knowledge of the emotions, concerns and problems. His illustrations show the love, anger, frustration, fear, humor and other human emotions that we all express in our daily lives.

I love the details he illustrates in the rooms, landscape, home and schools. It makes you feel you are actually in the setting with the main characters.

You and your child will love reading this book . I believe this will become a favorite that you will read often. I encourage you to search out other books my Mercer Mayer after you read this one.

There is fun and exploration and learning. There is concern on Big Nut Brown Hare for Little Nut Brown Hare just like any adult has for a precious child.

You will enjoy the stories of their adventures and love the illustrations which show such details in the landscape and emotions on the main characters' faces. This is a nice family story that you will read and reread.
