My Take on the Book

This was a beautiful book that really is a story that needs to be told to our kids over and over again. Each one of our kids are artists in their own way and we do need to encourage this and this book does just that. I love the images throughout and the creative use of words and images that allow you to see the importance of creativity in our children's lives. I highly recommend this book to all!

My Take on the Book
For anyone who loves Disney and Disney animation, this is a must-have! The book really explores 100 years of Disney history and places it smack-dab in front of you where you can explore and enjoy it thoroughly. On top of learning more about the behind-the-scenes aspects of Disney, you also can learn about drawing some of your favorite Disney characters as well (though the book is not really a drawing book per se). The book offers a plethora of information on the history of animation and I found myself completely drawn into every page and I came out of the book knowing so much more! The book is an enjoyable read and one that you will not forget!

My Take on the Book
My kids love to draw and my youngest has just recently gotten into trying to draw Manga lately. This book is a bit more advanced than just a basic level look at Manga. That being said though, the book does still give you a ton to work on if you are interested in drawing Manga. My daughter has really explored this book and I can see the difference! I know she will be using this book for some time to come and her art will continue to get better too!

This was an amazing book that will help all budding artists to create some very cool characters. The book is set up to be a practical book that will aid the reader in drawing characters more efficiently. The book will walk you step-by-step into creating some very fun characters, and I know that both my daughter and I enjoyed the experience of working on some of the characters together and apart. In the end we created some cool illustrations, and every time we use the techniques shared we seem to get a bit better each time we try.

My Take on the Book
My daughter loves art and this book is a great one that we have loved using over the last few weeks. We found rocks outside and we found that after finding them that the book had great ideas throughout for making some very fun rock art friends. The explanations were easy to follow and the results were fun to have around the home. My daughter even made some to give to others and everyone she gave them to were so impressed. This is a great book for all ages!

My Take on the Book
This was a very thorough book that explores so many different ways of lettering things that you want to keep for yourself or share with others. Both of my girls are talented with art but have never really explored this facet of art, so this book was a great primer on a new art form and they really appreciated all of the great information that was shared in the book. The book walks you through step-by-step on the different types of lettering and even talks about tools needed as well. This is a great book for anyone that is either first starting out or is in need of a refresher, and the images through the book are wonderful to follow along with too!
