My Take on the Game
What a great new addition to the Nancy Drew Games for your PC. I have been a fan of these games for some time and I have to say that each seem to be getting just a bit better and the plots become just a bit more complex and fun! I found the puzzles to be challenging for myself, and even at the easier level, my daughter still had to work to accomplish what she wanted.
The graphics in the game rocked and the people providing the voices did a great job at portraying the characters that they were supposed to be. The game is not a quick one and you do have to work at solving the game and it will take a bit of time, so be patient, it is worth the wait.
This game will keep you on the edge of your seat and will challenge your sleuth skills. For my daughter and I neither of us were disappointed at all and I don't think you will be either.
The only downside to the game in my opinion is that I would have liked to have been able to explore the world outside of the hotel buildings, but alas, it was not meant to be.

My Take on the Game This was another great game from HER interactive. I downloaded it the other day and my daughter and I were excited to try it out, as we have enjoyed the other Nancy Drew games in the past. You see for my daughter, these games bring the original Nancy Drew books that she loves to read to life, and I have to agree that the games in the past have been very well done and have held true to the mystery and intrigue of the Nancy Drew mysteries of the past. In getting into this game I have to say that again I was impressed with the overall game itself. Depending on the level of expertise that you feel that you have you can select the difficulty. We chose amateur and I was glad that I did, as there were parts that were challenging enough as an amateur (in my perspective). Be ready to be drawn in from the very beginning and know that as it says above, this game is a bit darker than others I have tried and thus has some more scary moments as well (but not too scary). I loved that the download also came with an e-book that helped you maneuver throughout the sections of the game, as this made our game playing that much more enjoyable as well. It is not a requirement to read, but does give you some helpful hints and tips! All-in-all, we are definitely not through the game as of yet, but can say that we are very impressed with the quality of graphics, and the overall story of the game, and if you are a Nancy Drew fan, you will be too!

My Take on the Game
I have been playing Nancy Drew Games for some time, and this one was so interactive and engaging. I loved the fact that there were two levels of play as I like to have my seven year old daughter play as well, and the regular version is still a bit tough. The graphics were great and the game itself had a wonderful storyline that made the game both interactive and challenging. This game fits well into the line of Nancy Drew Games from the past. I will say that the hint hotline was a great asset as some of the aspects of the game were definitely challenging, and with that in mind being able to reach out and ask for help was wonderful! Overall, this was a game that I would encourage all to look into!

My Take on the Product
As someone that grew up on Atari 2600 games, this brought back so many memories! Now only the old school joystick, but the games themselves were a blast from the past and it delivers exactly what I thought that it would. I do wish that more games came with this up front and that you did not have to pay extra for them, but even though this is the case, the game play that this provides was a ton of fun and the games were were the extra expense in my opinion, and the extra $9.99 for 100 games will not break most banks. All-in-all this is a fun system that will bring you back to your childhood, but also will allow your kids to see games as they were when we were young. They may not completely appreciate some of the low graphic ones (compared to what they have today), but they will appreciate you sharing and spending time with them and letting them better know what it was like when you were young!

My Take on the Product
What I love about this game is the Game Show style of game play that it provides. You get to feel that you are a contestant in the game and the interactivity between it and your IPad make it even better. The game itself was fun, and whether you enjoy being competitive or not, this game will bring your family together in fun ways that you will not want to miss. I did notice that you will want to make sure that the square device that connects your IPad to the game is near the speaker of your IPad for best results. All-in-all though this was so much fun and was something that my kids completely enjoyed! If you have an IPad and you have a family, this is the game for you! What's even better though is that the Discovery Bay Games is also continuing to come up with new games that can be downloaded for the system in the future, so you can continue to have fun with this for years to come!

My Take on the Game
My family loves games! I used to be big into chess as well when I was younger so I was excited to get the opportunity to try out this game with my eldest. The game says it for ages eight and up, but my eldest is 6.5 and I thought it would be fun for her to try it out as well.
What was great about this game was the fact that it definitely makes you think as much of the game itself is logic based. It was fun to see that you could play this for as long or as short as the time that you had available. Thus even if I only had a few minutes I could still have fun with this game and have some enjoyment from the challenge!
This game is now on one of my favorite games list (for the ones that I have in my home). My daughter struggled at first but after a few times she started to get the hang of it as well and she enjoyed being challenged by the game, and by me.
If you love logic puzzles and games that will stretch your mind, this is the game for you!

Footloose Games builds socially responsible games that can be enjoyed by grown-ups and kids alike (or even better, together!). They have just finished crafting their first PC-based game called Munchies' Lunch.
Munchies' Lunch is a puzzle-adventure game that's quick to learn, challenging, and intellectually stimulating.
The game's characters and their journey are inspired by a real-life family's escape from the conflict in Yugoslavia during the early 90's. The producer Vlado wanted to show appreciation to his parents who during the time of great difficulty managed to exemplify courage, strength and unconditional love. He did that by making his own mom the game's hero and by telling his family's inspiring story. He wrote a little about it on the game's website which you can take a peek at here here.
As a dad that loves playing games both by myself and with my family I can say that this game is quite addictive! I know that for me I had a lot of fun challenging myself to figure out which way that you had to move to make the munchies move away from the food that you needed to pick up before they ate it themselves and to make sure that I had enough points to make it to the next level.
My daughter did have a little trouble at first as she tried to figure out the controls, but once she did figure it out she was flying through the levels as well and having a blast.
Overall this was a lot of fun and challenging in its own right. If you like games and you like to be drawn into a game, this game is right for you!

My Take on the Software
I was excited to try this software as it sounded like it held so much design power! In getting a copy of the software to try, installation was easy and the interface that I was given at the front of the program was easy to understand. I have only just scratched the surface of what Alibre Design can do. I have tried AutoCAD in the past and found this to be harder to understand and to use and this program seemed to provide similar capabilities and the interface (in my perspective) was easier to use and the overall proce was much less than an AutoCAD (about 1/3 the price).
So far I am very pleased with the program. It was easy to learn and use and for the price, it is definitely one that I would recommend. It was user friendly and the end result was an amazing design!
If you are looking for a great program, go and check out the trial version and make sure that there are no hardware compatibility issues before you buy. I highly recommended this program!

My Take on the Product
As a personal fan of Nancy Drew as well as having ladies in my own house that have been fans for longer than I was excited to get this and try it out for myself. I have tried a number of other Nancy Drew games in the past and this, I knew, would have other that I had not tried in the past plus even more!
I was surprised to how nice the collection that this set provides the consumer, as not only does it come with a number of games that were very exciting to play, but also that kept you on your toes and guessing at what to do next, but it also came with a journal filled with sketches and much more for the true Nancy Drew fan.
Her Interactive has been bringing fans like me Nancy Drew for some years and this only continues with the fan favorite collection.
If you are as much of a fan of Nancy Drew as my home is, this collection is the perfect gift!

My Take on the Game
Being that Diva-J is now in school, she does whatever she can to simply eat up knowledge. From spelling with me on the couch to reading books, to practicing handwriting (never my subject!), she tries hard every step that she can. In knowing this, I found this game to be both fun and interactive.
I know that though some kids are motivated to learn outside of school, others need a little motivation, and this game gives that motivation. Through fun graphics and games, the player is taken into a world of learning (in a fun and interactive way). In giving this game to Diva-J, she sat down and jumped right into the game and stayed there for a while. She did not seem to have many difficulties understanding what to do and the game kept her engaged for some time. I will say though that this game is geared for younger children than her and she found the game a bit easy (in her words). I think though that for someone like Diva-PJ who is going to be 3 next year, this game would be perfect!
Overall, a great game, and one that I would recommend, especially if you have a younger child just learning their ABC's.
