My Take on the Book
This is a sturdy board book meant to be used by children. It is quite a clever idea. The text rhymes and is fun to read. The illustrations are colorful.
Each set of two pages includes a face from the nose down to the top of the shoulders. There is a curved indentation for the nose to fit under the illustration. When the child places the open pages under his nose and looks in the mirror he/she will see his/her face transform into that of a pirate, cowboy, sailor and other characters. Santa Clause in included in this delightful interactive story too.
It is a good book to encourage a child to use their imagination.
