My Take on the Book
Sonia Sotomayor , one of our United States Supreme Court Judges, is an inspiration. She came from a hard working family who lived in the Bronx. Through hard work and perseverance her dream of becoming a judge became a reality.

In this Level 3 reader, your child will learn about this amazing woman. She and her family overcame numerous challenges.

I believe this story will assist your child in developing a concept of a good role model. With an education and hard work, your child could accomplish their dreams too. I encourage parents to expose their children to nonfiction books about real people.

Ann Marie Anderson did an excellent job writing this book for children showing situations a child may encounter and using text that is easy for them to comprehend.
