About the Author
A physician currently living in Savannah, Georgia, Mark Murphy is also a lifelong award-winning writer. In the midst of a busy medical career which included several academic publications, Dr. Murphy’s decision to attend the Iowa Summer Writing Festival led to the inclusion of a short story, "The Funeral," in a 2004 collection of works entitled O! Georgia! A well-received regular newspaper column in the Savannah Morning News followed. The Shadow Man is his first novel.

My Take on the Book
This was a book that I could not put down. Full of suspense and action this book was a great read. There were so many issues that were addressed in this book including: deceit, trust, loyalty and many more. The book was deep, while at the same time keeping me on the edge of my seat wondering what would come next. I also enjoyed the depth of the characters within the book that the author provided, as this made the book even more real to me as I experienced the book. Be ready to be scared and don't jump at small noises after you have completed the book!
