Book Review - A Cowgirl Always Gets Even

About the Book
The title says it all... Dawn shares her stories of cattle rustlers, horse traders, critters, city folk, idiots, and living the country life as a rancher, mother, author and cowgirl.

On the heels of her previous collections, the award winning, A Cowgirl Remembers When and A Cowgirl Never Forgets, Dawn shares what it’s like, and what it takes, to handle the ranch, the city, and the country as a genuine cowgirl.

It’s Western wisdom, wit and humor at its best.

My Take on the Book
In this book Dawn Nelson paints a picture of the west that is so vivid. Add in humor and characters that are fun and engaging and you get a memorable story. This story is deeply personal to Dawn and you get to know her more as a person and you truly get to see why the characters that she writes about are as multi-dimensional as they are as you get to know her as a person. All I can say is that I can only hope that my daughters can encompass as much as this author does as they grow up as well, as Ms. Nelson truly is inspirational.
