American Girl: Into the Spotlight

About the Book
Let's dance! Readers can imagine themselves as the main character of this interactive story, a girl who wants to take ballet class but worries she won't be able to keep up. If she works hard, will she ever be as graceful as her friends? Or will she follow a different beat and find a few moves of her own? With more than 20 different endings, girls will enjoy this addition to the Innerstar University series again and again to see how their decisions change the story. Plus, this book comes with a secret access code to unlock additional endings online!

My Take on the Book
Welcome to the Innerstar University. This one of a kind imaginary school allows you to live in the dorm called Brightstar House with your friends. There's lots of fun and your true talents will shine. Your friends will help you find your way through some challenging situations.

As you read this book you will reach a page in which you will need to make a decision. The decision you make will lead you to more than 20 different endings. So you can reread this book and make different choices each time.

Here is one example: You and your friends are at a ballet recital of a good friend Neely. You admire her dancing and express aloud your wish that you could dance like that. You are invited to take ballet lessons. At this point you you will need to make a decision.   If you  say YES , turn to page 14. If you decide to sit in on a class before making your mind, turn to page 16.

If you are saying NO because you are too busy, turn to page 17.

As the reader makes her choice and continues to read, she will be asked to make further decisions until you finally reach the end of this scenario. Remember you can return to choose another decision and lead yourself in anther way.

Any reader would love to read this story and then choose her own adventure. What and adventure for the mind plus the endless possibilities for a girl to see how one's choices influence your life.
