My Take on the Book
Media can make such a vast impact on entire families, but especially kids. This book was an interesting read as it posits that parents should work with their kids to help them make good choices with their use of technology and their interaction with media. The book is filled with solid research and you will find that the way in which the author explains and shares findings that everyone can understand. The book is filled with personal stories that make his recommendations tangible and even as you get further into the book you will find that the author also shares great information about how to adjust your strategies as kids get older too. The book was definitely a great read that all parents, grandparents or others that work with kids can use to safeguard kids today!
