Book Review - Extreme Face Painting

About the Books
Two award-winning special effects artists, brothers Brian and Nick Wolfe, created video-enhanced ebooks showing regular people how they can make the most out-of-this-world painting effects. IMPACT Books presents two enhanced ebooks for this Halloween: Extreme Face Painting FIENDISH and FRIENDLY. I could tell you more about it, but I’d rather let a video promo for the book give you a feel for what they’ve done:

Extreme Face Painting: 25 FRIENDLY Step-by-Step Demos (Enhanced Edition)
International-award winning artists Brian and Nick Wolfe share the step-by-step instructions and techniques to help artists at all levels achieve fun, funny, and unbelievable images of birds, butterflies, knights, monkeys, starry skies, and more.

Extreme Face Painting: 25 FIENDISH Step-by-Step Demos (Enhanced Edition)
From zombies, witches, and vampires as you’ve never achieved them before to more unusual denizens of the dark like yetis, orcs, and cyborgs, with Extreme Face Painting: FIENDISH, you might even scare yourself.

The enhanced versions of the books (with video!) are available through iTunes for the iPad and iPhone for $5.99 as well as at Barnes and Noble for the Nook Color. The regular ebook is also available at Amazon for the Kindle and the print book is available wherever books are sold.

My Take on the Books
These books were amazing and the images just jump off the page. If you are a fan of going all out on Halloween, this book is for you! You will learn step-by-step techniques regarding how you can transform yourself into Ghoulish creatures to playful animals and you will be amazed at how good you will look after the transformation. The books also come with a DVD that includes two bonus demos. What I loved about the book is how well the authors take you on this step-by-step journey and you will find that even if you do not think of yourself as an artist, you can make people believe that you are!
