Game Review - Thinkfun Mathdice Jr.

About the Game

Introducing MathDice Jr., the perfect complement to ThinkFun's ever-popular MathDice! Roll the 12-sided Target Die to obtain your target number, then roll the five 6-sided Scoring Dice. Using addition and/or subtraction, combine the Scoring Dice to match the target number, moving one space on the track for every Scoring Die used. The first player to reach the finish line on the scoring track wins! Simple rules and chunky, brightly colored dice make it fun for all ages and all math levels.

* Oversized dice are designed for small hands
* Game-Go Bag for easy storage

My Take on the Game

This game was a fun game to play with any child in earlier elementary to work on and reinforce math skills such as addition and subtraction. It was completely portable and fun.

My oldest daughter likes doing math with me but still struggles with subtraction so I saw this game as a positive game to help me work with her on these and other math skills that we are trying to reinforce at home. It also is a fun way to make learning fun as she does not always want to just do math worksheets!

Though you can start with easier math skills, this game also opens the door to more advanced work as your child advances as well!

This is a great game for any family!
