Book Review - Mustache Baby
When Baby Billy is born with a mustache, his family takes it in stride. The nurse warns them things could go either way, depending on whether it is a good-guy or bad-guy mustache. His parents are reassured when he nobly saves the day as a (pretend) cowboy protecting his (toy) cattle, and blows the whistle on his cookie-stealing siblings. But time passes and little Billy’s mustache starts to curl up at the ends in a suspiciously villainous fashion. Due out in May 2013.
My Take on the Book
This is a cute fictional story depicting a baby born with a "good mustache" and then acquiring a "bad mustache". As the baby goes from being a "good guy " to a "bad guy" depending on the mustache, you have humor and fun in this story.
The ending brings about a "mustache friend" for our mustache baby. It makes you wonder what may happen in the future for this little mustache tyke.
The illustrations are delightful and my daughters enjoyed the story line.
