My Take on the Series
I had never seen the series before but I have read seen some of R.L Stine's work in the past and my eldest daughter enjoys the work as well. Some might ask why an eight year old would enjoy being scared, but she has always been that way and likes a good scare. My eldest and I sat down and watched these DVDs do have to say that we were engrossed from the very beginning. I will say that some of the content is a little bit scary and that it might not be appropriate for younger audiences. That being said my eight-year-old simply love the series and by the end was asking whether there was more to be seen. There were strong actors within the series began the episodes were fun and engaging ( as well as a little bit scary). I highly encourage all to go and check out this series, as it is one that I am so glad that I was able to find.
